For example, how does Gardein fish bits compare to actual fish, fake chicken nuggets compare to chicken nuggets made from organic grass fed stress free chicken, not injected with anything gross etc...?

I don't mind some plant based stuff but wonder about how healthy it is given how ultra processed it is.

posted on vegansim first, but it quickly derailed into what vegans known for.

Im only looking for youre absolute favourite meals! We're only doing this for a week so I want to try the best there is.

PS: No soy stuff, kale/broccoli type things or raw tomatoes. No sugar/starch is ideal, but not a deal breaker.

Show off your perfect meal to maybe convince me to move over to this diet, or as worse case, provide me with some health sidedishes!

I always thought being able to make mooncake is pretty impressive, since usually mooncakes are store bought and have a lot of oil, sugar and preservatives.

It took me 3 tries to learn the ropes, and I want to share this with anyone that might be interested :D It's delicious and made with just 7 common ingredients!

I see why processed versions of potatoes and corn can't count as a serve of vegetables, but can freshly boiled/roasted potatoes and fresh/frozen corn kernals count as a serve of vegetables?

After watching "The Magic Pill" about a month ago I started doing keto and have lost about 15 or so pounds. I was eating all kinds of foods and I've really come to love cooking again.. making keto fat bombs, pizzas, casseroles etc etc. I kind of jumped into keto as soon as I saw the documentary and all of the health benefits (although weight loss was my main concern.) I was never fully sold that it was a good way to eat when it came to overall health though, so after checking out a few more food docs on Netflix I've decided to give WFPB a go and things are going well so far. I haven't had any trouble finding things to eat but I do have a few questions:

do you guys count macros? what split?

I'm on day three of wfpb and I've noticed although I've been keeping my caloric intake at a deficit I've actually gained weight. Is this just due to the change in what I'm eating?

Is it normal to be pooping 3-6 times a day?

I can't remember the last time I had a headache since before today. Will this pass?

I didn't get much sleep last night but I woke up feeling refreshed when I had to get up. Although when I got home from errands I laid down and immediately fell asleep. It was nice to take a nap again although I haven't napped in a while. Am I not eating enough or something?

does anyone want to be myfitnesspal buddies? I could use some sample diet choices for inspiration and guidance
