He's worried that they'll find porn, chats, and other thing. But he's also worried that in those websites there might be links to 'meeting singles' and other weird things that might get him in trouble in court. He's been threatened with jail if he 'erases evidence'. How can I make sure that his computer is clean, without a trace of weird things, without making it seem as though he's erased everything.
I, personally, want to erase his free space, which might contain some deleted files that he doesn't want them to see. However, they might come up and say: you erased your deleted files. I suggested that we just wipe the whole hard drive start over... but they can easily find that he did this and he doesn't want that.
What can I do? What software should I use? What strategy should we implement? He's willing to purchase any software (as long as it's not ridiculously expensive).
EDIT: it seems that the court did order him to not erase anything on the drive. I'm thinking of just copying over a bunch of movies to fill up the drive, and do this a few times. What do you think?
